THE INAUGERAL EXHIBIT

The first of many immersive exhibition from the University of Streets & Corners, FREE THE PEOPLE is designed to move audiences emotionally from tension to release and from frustration to empowerment.

Through powerful visual works spanning videography, sculpture, painting, and digital installations, artists confront the political, social, and economic pressures shaping everyday life. The exhibition is unified through red dominant tones that evoke urgency, power, passion, and intensity.

Guiding the experience is a master audio installation where recording artists, DJs, poets, and producers collaborate to create intentional soundscapes that shape the energy of the room and the emotional journey of every guest.

Granny's Wisdom

Throughout University of Streets & Corners Exhibitions are secret messages hidden in plain sight with Granny’s Wisdom, a visually striking, storytelling font inspired by the countless lessons learned by our Founder from his beloved Grandmother's teachings. Its novel characters are formed by giving shape to the negative space that occurs naturally in the spaces between traditional lettering. This proprietary negative-space design technique is flush with hidden forms that emerge only when certain letters are paired together.
